Description
A rare Danish Mid-Century Modern lounge chair designed by Aage Pedersen, the former director of GETAMA, for GETAMA. This model GE88 is heavily inspired by Hans Wegner, so much so, Wegner reprimanded GETAMA for borrowing from his designs and requested a cease of production. This chair features assumed to be original peacock blue-colored wool cushions and a teak frame with a flat spindle back. Dimensions: H 30" x W 27.5" x D 32" x SH 17" Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Minor finish loss to ends of armrests. Cushion spring puncture bottom front edge. Fabric wear spot to top left edge. Minor soiling overall to cushions. GC095

All the items in this auction remain at our Gallery in Norwalk, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Friday, September 30th - Friday, October 7th, WEEKDAYS ONLY, 9-5.
